Guided pheasant & bobwhite hunts are available, but if you have your own dogs, by all means bring them on. But if your having trouble finding the birds on your own, we will be glad to come help you out with our gundogs.

Moore’s Hunting Preserve’s goal is to provide the best hunting experience you’ve ever had, and each guest receives personal attention!

With today's hustle-and-bustle society of commitments and deadlines, it is difficult to find time to reconnect with nature.  With declining bird populations, land availability diminishing and higher land leases, Moore's Hunting Preserve provides a great alternative for bird hunters.

Our preserve is several hundreds of acres and is chock full of native grasses, Sudan grasses, some fence rows as well as a few trees.  Our cover provides an outstanding habitat for pheasant and bobwhite.

No two groups of hunters are alike.  We realize this at Moore's Hunting Preserve by tailoring your hunt to your needs.  We will do everything possible to accommodate you, including providing snacks, a warm shelter before or after the hunt, prearranged meals at a modest cost, hand-picked guides, and top-of-the-line dogs if you need them.  We will strive to make sure your trip is a safe and memorable one.

• Cheese and crackers, soda, and coffee are all available.

• Soup and sandwiches are available when pre-arranged for a modest cost.

• Blaze Orange Hat or Vest Required
• Kentucky Hunting License Required
• Shooting Glasses Recommended

Bird Hunt Rates:

$50.00 Minimum
3 Pheasant or 6 Quail or 4 Chuckar

Additional Birds may be added in any number:
Pheasant - $14 each
Quail - $6 each
Chuckar - $10 each

Hunt Times:

All Field Hunts are 1/2 day  (guided and unguided)
Morning Hunts 8am -12 noon
Afternoon Hunts 1pm -4 pm

Cleaning & Packaging:

Cleaning and packaging available for additional charge.
Pheasant - $1.50
Quail - $1.00
Chuckar - $1.25
